We have a vacancy for an Agency Account Manager at the Financial Times - winner of Media Owner of the Year at the Festival of Media Awards 2010.

This is a wide-ranging role, in the FT Asia finance team, supporting the commercial departments. The postholder will work closely with a number of senior non-finance colleagues in Asia, business analysts globally, and the Asia Finance Director. The role includes management responsibility of the FT Asia Assistant Management Accountant. The role is based in Hong Kong and the expected duration is 15 months, starting October 1st.

The Account Support Executive will be responsible for providing account support to B2B customers. They will be required to work closely with the Account Mangers on supporting their customers so that there is greater usage of FT content via B2B products.

Global M&A news and intelligence provider Mergermarket is seeking an experienced business reporter for its Sydney bureau.

The successful candidate will be responsible for unearthing unpublished information on potential and ongoing deals, interviewing senior executives, and identifying potential M&A opportunities.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new Syndication revenue from Videos, One-off sales of FT content and reprints.

The Business Development Manager (SME) will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing existing and new business related to the B2B sale of FT digital content across a portfolio of Small to Medium Enterprise accounts in the Corporate and Advisory sector, and working with assigned sector sales managers on strategic opportunities.

The individual is expected to develop and refine their sales strategy - that involves working with senior decision makers and centralised information professionals across SME and strategic prospect accounts in the Corporate & Advisory sector – to grow renewal and new business revenue.

They will manage the renewal of assigned accounts and the complete sales cycle from prospect through to contract stage

Editing sections on emerging markets (Africa and Middle East) and aspects of banking for The Banker magazine.
