This is a temp to perm role, therefore it is preferable if you are available immediately or at short notice.

Financial Times Conferences is looking to recruit a hard-working and ambitious marketing manager to join their growing talented international team.

Working with a highly regarded and trusted global brand, your key objectives will be to:

  • Plan and implement targeted, cost effective and creative marketing campaigns (encompassing DM, eDM, online/offline advertising, partnerships and telemarketing) for a number of conferences and events across a range of industries, to drive delegate sales and hit target revenue
  • Allocate spend and resource that will generate the best returns within the designated event marketing budget
  • Generate delegate enquiries and sales for your events by using excellent marketing creative and copy whilst adhering to brand guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external event stakeholders about the planning, progress, and results of marketing activity
  • Gain maximum exposure by securing associations and media partners to support the event, whilst driving and managing the PR component
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers


As we are a busy international team, you will be proactive, full of creative flair, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisational and analytical skills, have an eye for detail and the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines. You will also relish a challenge or three!

Essential Requirements

  • To succeed in this busy role you will need to be educated to degree level (ideally Marketing) or equivalent.
  • It is essential that you have a solid amount of experience in conference marketing with the majority of this spent at manager level.
