Manage all online advertising campaigns. Liasing with Sales teams, Advertisers, Agencies and Internal clients.
Working with the sales teams to maximise revenue and delivery high levels of customer service.
Assist in roll out of new site products and take active role in FT.com projects.

Principal Job Duties

Responsible for the managing all online advertising campaigns on FT Internet Sites.
Responsibilities Include:
• Respond to all standard emails within 4 hours. Respond to all Business Critical emails within 1 hour.
• Manage inventory via Adserver linked excel spreadsheets.
• Manage Orders in the Google DFP system and Solbright Sales management
system including; managing inventory, placing orders, inserting creatives, generating and sending
order forms, monitor delivery, perform effective campaign optimisation, provide reporting.
• Manage all creative copy; chasing copy, testing, adjusting, compliance, troubleshooting.
• Test all new and existing rich media formats; build relationships with creative agencies.
• Manage relationships with third part suppliers and advertising agencies.
• Manage, optimise and troubleshoot campaigns to ensure full delivery and invoicing of full
revenue.
• Manage training of all mapped Sales reps once per quarter.

Managing Client Relationship with both Internal and External Clients
• Maintain and nurture internal and external relationships at all levels.
• Respond to all queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain an excellent working relationship with all mapped sales reps.
• Ensure Sales reps are kept informed of the progress of all their campaigns.
• Assist the sales teams in generating revenue and managing client relationships.

Improving Systems and Process
• Work with the whole team to improve systems and processes within the Ads
Production team.
• Work with the team to assess potential improvements to the Admanagement system.
• Maintain knowledge and provide training on all FT Sites and Products.
• Take secondary role to projects manager on roll out of new site products. Attend project
meetings with a view to taking a leading role in project manager’s absence.

Team Responsibilities
• Attend and participate in weekly team meeting.
• Cover other members of the team when they are off sick or on holiday.
• Peer training on all sites and responsibilities.
• Work towards Team mission statement “To be the leading online client
Focused, ad management team in the New Media Industry”

Principle Decisions

• Inventory decisions to decide if a campaign can run on the site
• Creative decisions regarding creative sizes
• Creative decisions relating to compliance
• Ad hoc decisions relating to all aspects of advertising management on FT sites.
• Decisions on effective campaign optimisation.

Key Competencies

• Ad Serving experience on DE / DFP.
• Exposure to sales management systems preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Computer Literacy (MS Excel, MS Access skills are an asset)
• Ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure – excellent time management
• Organisational, analytical and quantitative skills
• Pro-active, solutions focused, decision making
• Ability to balance the needs of FT.com users with those of FT.com advertising clients

Previous Experience

• Ad Management Experience (essential)
• Internet Experience
• HTML and other rich media formats (desirable)
• Experience working in a customer service environment
• Working under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Keen to learn and flexible.
