Job Purpose
Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training and Product Support Executive will be responsible for assisting the Training Manager in the day-to-day running of the B2B Training service, including planning and delivering online product demonstrations, collecting and analysing feedback and usage data and creating supporting product documentation. This role will result in increased sales and greater usage of B2B products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• To gather training requirements from the B2B team and corporate clients
• To work with the Training Manager to plan and deliver product training to clients and internal staff worldwide, in small and large groups, both onsite and via teleconference and web based training
• To maintain records of training delivery and product feedback in the B2B CRM system
• To collect, analyse and evaluate feedback and usage data following training sessions
• To create and maintain product documentation to support the B2B team and corporate clients
• To support the Corporate Support team in responding to technical and product related enquiries from customers
• To keep the B2B team informed of product releases and changes
• To work with the Sales Team and the Account Managers to promote training within customer sites
• To provide pre and post sales support by working with sales staff and account managers to deliver product presentations which match customer needs
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
• Previous training experience
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to make decisions and use own initiative
• Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent
• Experience of supporting technical products
• Knowledge of the online media/publishing industry
