Job Purpose
We are looking for a talented online marketing / business development professional to cultivate and grow the audience for FT.com.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Audience Development Partnerships (subscription and traffic)
Support the regional supervisor by:
• prospecting strategic partnerships
• implementation of partnerships, including liaison with corporate support and outside agencies
• managing and optimizing partnerships
• monitoring and reporting of partner metrics
• co-ordinating with the legal department

2. Direct Marketing Initiatives
Support the regional supervisor by:
• researching lists/databases for email campaigns
• overseeing the production of creative for campaigns
• implementing campaigns in liaison with the database marketing team
• monitoring and reporting on campaigns

3. Product Marketing
Support the regional supervisor in managing product marketing needs for new product development (editorial and ad sales) by:
• liaising with the product development team and editorial regarding house assets needs which could include online ads and inclusion in newsletters to the database
• working with creative services to develop creative
• booking creative with production team
• monitoring and reporting results
• optimising campaigns
• coordinating with other marketing managers on the “bigger picture” including the external marketing campaign manager, the Brand head, and the Membership Marketing team

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Minimum 2 years online marketing and/or biz dev experience with an understanding of creative development, email marketing, analytics reporting, search engines, RSS feeds etc. Training will be provided on the specifics of crafting audience development partnership terms and implementing them
• A team player - keen to contribute, share learning and learn from others
• A self-starter, with initiative to make decisions and overcome problems
• Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically and deliver recommendations based on data and analysis
• A clear thinker, who will implement and deliver campaigns on time
• The ability to learn new tools quickly and accurately.
• Creative flair. Excellent command of written English and competent copywriting skills.
