Job Purpose
fDi Intelligence is a specialist Division from the Financial Times Ltd established to provide industry leading insight into globalisation with a portfolio of world-class products, services and business tools that allow both companies and economic development organisations alike to make informed decisions regarding foreign direct investment and investment attraction. This role will be London-based, but with extensive international travel.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Selling all commercial aspects of fDi Intelligence products portfolio across the specified region, with responsibility for helping to hit monthly/quarterly sales targets for fDi Intelligence.
Account management of existing clients across the region.
Ensuring the Account Management Systems are kept up-to-date
Identifying and converting new prospects
International travel is a key element for this position as the candidate will be required to travel frequently within the region.

Essential
You should be an experienced sales/business development person
Solution led salesperson - capable of selling business solutions both face-to-face and over the phone
Self-starter happy to work in a close-knit team environment and capable of working autonmously
Excellent communicator: Strong written and verbal skills, experience in presenting to groups.
Fluent in Spainsh/Portuguese language/s
In-depth interest & understanding of the globalisation of business
Prepared to travel extensively within Latin America and Africa
Preferred
Experience of selling business intelligence
Background of working with or in an Investment Promotion Agency/Regional Development Agency
University degree (or higher)
