Job Purpose
To be responsible for all aspects of the production of the weekly and monthly Online Advertising figures and reports for the global commercial team, including reports for Executive Appointments (EA) which recently merged into the team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Production of weekly online advertising reports
• Reconciliation of weekly online revenue figures with month end figures and posting month end journals as required to ensure accurate reporting on month end results
• Reviewing of revenues and costs against pre-defined budgets and/or quarterly forecasts for Online Advertising and production of month end revenue reports.
• Analysis and reporting of resultant variances on a routine weekly and monthly basis.
• Posting month end journals and undertaking month end procedures for EA.
• Preparation of month end reports, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for EA.
• Integration of the reporting for EA into the advertising team’s existing reports.
• Adhoc reporting and analysis as required by the business analyst.
• Balance sheet account reconciliation preparation.
• Acting as the Finance contact for the Online Advertising team, including the Executive Appointments team.
• Monthly/Quarterly controls testing as required by the Sarbanes Oxley.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications / Competencies / Skills / Experience
Essential

• Part qualified accountant.
• A minimum of 1 years experience in a relevant financial environment.
• Good communications skills both within and external to the finance department.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent financial analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex problems into component parts, explore and evaluate them systematically.

• Ability to work accurately and to limited timescales.
• Organisation and planning skills with the ability to deal effectively with both short term imperatives and long term planning.

• Enthusiasm, resilience, drive and commitment, with the ability to work effectively in a constantly changing and pressured environment.

Desirable
• Experience of Sun Accounts and Hyperion Enterprises would be an advantage
